Our humanitarian initiative collects sunglasses to help protect Himalayan communities from irreversible eye damage caused by intense UV exposure at high altitudes.
The Himalayas: A Pressing Cause
At nearly 10,000 feet above sea level, the situation is alarming: 80% of Himalayan populations suffer from extreme UV effects, often forcing them to abandon their ancestral villages. In partnership with the Compagnie des guides de Chamonix, we give new life to your old sunglasses by redistributing them to the most isolated Himalayan villages—often accessible only after days of hiking or motorcycle travel.

Contact us at collect@pascalmathieu.com or drop off your donations at collection boxes available in the Chamonix and Servoz tourist offices, as well as at our partner hotels such as the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva and Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
We can distribute only non-prescription sunglasses in good condition, used ski goggles, or children’s sunglasses.
